1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Outventure ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access or use the App.
2. Description of Service
Outventure is a personal development application that provides daily challenges designed to help users overcome anxiety and build confidence. The App includes features such as:
- Daily personal development challenges
- Progress tracking and statistics
- Feedback submission system
- Premium subscription options
3. User Accounts
To use the App, you must create an account with valid information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Users must be at least 13 years old to use the App. For information about deleting your account, please visit our account deletion guide.
4. Premium Subscription Details
The App offers premium features through subscription options:
- Annual Plan: $39.99 per year (approximately $3.33 per month)
- Monthly Plan: $9.99 per month
- Weekly Plan: $3.49 per week
Annual subscription plan begins with a 7-day free trial period. Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase after the free trial period ends. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase.
If you cancel during your free trial period, your access to premium features will expire at the end of the trial period and you will not be charged. If you cancel after the free trial period, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription.
Prices are subject to change. We reserve the right to modify subscription terms and pricing with notification to users.
5. User Content
When submitting feedback or content through the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content for App improvement purposes. Users are limited to 10 feedback submissions per day.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit harmful or malicious content
- Attempt to bypass daily submission limits
- Share account credentials
- Use the App for unauthorized purposes
- Attempt to manipulate or abuse the subscription system
- Access or use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
7. Privacy and Data
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, including email addresses, user IDs, and app usage statistics.
Account deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Please visit our account deletion guide for instructions on how to delete your account. Upon account deletion, we will remove all your personal information and content from our active databases.
8. Subscriptions and Billing
All subscription management and billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store your payment information directly.
For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, you can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings. For subscriptions purchased through the Google Play Store, you can manage and cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store app.
If you upgrade from one subscription plan to another, you may be charged immediately for the new plan, and the remaining time on your previous subscription may be forfeited according to the App Store or Play Store policies.
If you cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription period. Your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
9. Disclaimers
The App's challenges and content are for personal development purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical or mental health treatment. Consult healthcare professionals for medical or mental health concerns.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outventure and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL OUTVENTURE'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, FOR ACCESS TO PREMIUM FEATURES DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO YOUR CLAIM.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via in-app notice or email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Outventure operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
